The following inscription is a fragmentary one and fixed into a dam called Mādhavamantri dam Near Talkad, Karṇāṭaka. The inscription is in Tamil and Tamil script. It seems that the stone was taken from a temple at Tālakkāḍ while the dam was built before hundred years.
The inscription doesn’t have the starting portion. By the Meikīrti portion, we can easily guess that the inscription belongs to the reign of Rājādhirāja I. The inscription mentions the donations made to the god at Tālakkāḍ alias Rājāpuram. The inscription is published in the Epigraphia Carnatica Vol III with the number NJ 48.

Curd three Kuṙuṇis and one Nāḹi, .. for the Brahmins, 4 Mā of paddy for one year …. One padakku of paddy, three kaḹañju of gold for one year …. Gold one and half Kaḹañju and for new period……
Kūttan Añgaikekan, son of Caṇḍan, his brother ….. vaṉ kāṭṭu nañgai … Taḹaikkaḍ alias Rājarājapuram…. For the perpetual lamp, the gold three (Kaḹañju)…. Will give it till the sea….
Vijaya…. (Rājādhirāja) Coḹa, who defeated Vikramāditya along with his elephants… his commander-in-chief Kalittaya cikayi of Coḹamaṇḍala, …. Without changing Eight Nāḹis, paddy with one Nāḹi and uri……… ghee for this god.
…. Janaviruddha … the bhaṭāra of the sthāna…. Koṇḍa Coḹa maṇḍala…
Omatti Devar, Bhavakarmi (the temple trustee) got capital from Araiyan Rājarājan for offering paddy before the god Rājarāja Viḍaṅga deva with Candra (moon god). He got two kalan and one Tūṇi of paddy and special offerings like Appam ….
Thus the inscription mentions the donation made during the reign of Rājādhirāja Deva. Unfortunately, the inscription is mutilated and taken to make the dam.
